Toyota Motor Corporation is recalling 106,061 U.S. vehicles due to a brake fluid leak which could affect braking performance and raise the risk of a crash, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on Feb.11.

The recall is affecting specific 2024-2025 Tacoma pickups.

The gap between the rear brake hose and the wheel could collect mud and debris over time, potentially causing damage to the hose and resulting in a brake fluid leak, according to NHTSA.

The NHTSA stated that dealers will replace both rear brake hoses at no cost.

Another recall affects the 2025 Toyota Camry, Lexus NX, and select 2024-2025 Lexus RX models. Officials report that some vehicles may have defective seat belts that fail to meet strength standards, potentially increasing the risk of injury in a crash, WSAW-TV said.

Toyota and Lexus dealers will repair the affected vehicles at no cost.

Customers will otherwise be notified that their cars have been recalled by early April.

To see if either recall applies to your car, visit Toyota’s website or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website and enter your car’s VIN number.
