11 Supermoto & Dirt Bike YouTubers You Must Follow
1. Riding with Tom
It’s important to note that Riding with Tom isn’t just about off-road biking. He also rides some motorcycles and travels through the city on his BMW. With that said, there are plenty of videos of him shredding the Australian desert.
You can watch him hunting for a Christmas tree on his WR450F. Of course, he couldn’t resist the wheelies.
He also did a special video that highlights some WR250R jumps. These videos just continue to reaffirm for us that the Aussies live in a dirt bike paradise. Doesn’t it make you want to take a trip?
Currently, Riding with Tom has about 250,000 subscribers and he’s been sharing his life with YouTube for seven years. It appears he uploads videos a couple of times a month. If you love dirt bikes and motorcycles, he offers a great balance of content between the two.
2. TransWorld Motocross
TransWorld Motocross provides everything you want related to the sport. You will find test reviews, news and just plain fun on this dirt bike Youtube channel.
The channel recently posted a video of Yamaha Factory Racing’s Aaron Plessinger spinning laps at the test track. This was done in preparation for the racing season. This footage is just a sampling of what the channel offers regularly.
As far as reviews go, a recent one is the 2019 Yamaha YZ125. To do this video, they joined forced with Broc Tickle, former West Coast 250 SX Champion and Man With the Best Name award winner. The video was shot at Milestone MX.
Currently, TransWorld Motocross has about 200,000 subscribers and has been around for about ten years. When the channel is active, it appears that videos get uploaded about ten times a month, so there’s plenty to enjoy.
3. Motocross a Way of Life
Motocross a Way of Life is a channel that’s entirely dedicated to motocross, obviously.
The channel consists mainly of compilations that will help you to kill some free time. The goal is to keep you entertained and amused, and the creators do a good job of making sure that happens.
They are currently involved in publishing their 2019 Crazy Moto Life Series. The latest episode is #43 and it features some strange moments. Take, for example, the guy near the beginning of the video that is wearing his pool float while riding. We aren’t sure what he’s thinking, but it appears he wanted to cool off in the pool for a minute.
Many of their videos have gone viral. A recent one is episode 14 of the 2019 Crazy Moto Life Series which hit more than a million views, which is pretty good for a dirt bike Youtube channel.
While the channel features more than 350,000 subscribers, there haven’t been any new posts in some time. It appears the channel started back in 2015, so they are seasoned motovloggers. When they were posting, we would typically see more than ten a month.
After you binge what they have, leave a comment and make sure they know fans are waiting for more!
4. JoeyMac420
If you want to follow a dirt bike YouTuber that’s just like you and me, you need to check out JoeyMac420. His main goal is to keep you entertained as he shreds some jumps, crashes his bike and showcases some crazy action in his videos.
One of his recent videos shows him running over a friend. In the end, it turns out he broke three fingers. To be honest, the other guy doesn’t look like he’s doing well either.
One of Joey’s videos that went viral is this one that alludes to being attacked by a mountain lion. Without giving too much of the fun away, make sure you check out what happens a little after the 12-minute mark.
Joey only recently eclipsed 1,000,000 subscribers, so be sure to give him a sub if you like what you see. He’s been on YouTube for eight years and uploads about one video each week. Some of them are clearly click bait, but hey, welcome to the internet. That doesn’t stop us from watching them.
5. Derek Hallman
Derek Hallman is a dirt bike YouTuber who engages in filming cinematic motocross videos and also publishes some compilations for the entertainment of people everywhere.
One of his most famous videos is where he showcased the sound of Tyler Kozik’s 2016 KTM 125SX fitted with an FMF Fatty expansion chamber and Titanium Powercore 2.1 Silencer. This video received more than four million views.
You can also catch some footage of him riding with a buddy. This popular upload features Derek riding through some trails and a creek.
He does have almost half a million subscribers which is quite the feat. He is also a YouTube pioneer who has been on the platform since 2005. It seems he doesn’t post as much anymore, but there are still about ten new videos a year. Let’s hope he puts some more on soon.
6. Tyler Monagan
One of the more active dirt bike vloggers is Tyler Monagan. You can catch him trying out bikes, tearing them apart to illustrate instructional steps and showing off some mad skills. You can also see some pretty gnarly crashes.
One of our favorite videos is the one where he’s trying out his new ramp in the backyard. There is a little part of us that is curious what would have happened if he had kept it in the truck bed, but we all know that wouldn’t have ended well.
One of his more popular videos is one showcasing some quad and pit bike riding. You might want to skip ahead about five minutes if you plan on seeing any action, but hey, welcome to Youtube.
Tyler does have just shy of about 400,000 subscribers and has been posting since 2013. It seems that he now uploads about a video a day, so if you want to watch this teen have a little fun on a dirt bike, make sure you subscribe to him.
7. DirtBike Lunatic
Although DirtBike Lunatic clearly states his love for dirt bikes in his name, there are also plenty of street legal motorcycle videos featured on the channel. You will be able to find plenty of crashes, enduro riding and motocross tricks on this page.
One of their popular compilations is of police and bikers. While they have several uploaded videos of police vs. bikers, this is one that got a lot of attention.
They also did a compilation of some extreme dirt bike crashes, wrecks and fails back in 2015. While it might be older, it never goes out of style.
The channel now has more than one million subscribers, so you won’t be alone when you click the red button. They’ve been around since 2014 and tend to post at least a few times each week.
8. The Dirtbike Rider
While a lot of dirt bike YouTubers dabble in other videos, The Dirtbike Rider is all about enduro riding. Everything that’s posted on the channels relates directly to dirt bikes. You can find bike reviews, riding videos, crashes and even some educational pieces.
One of his most popular videos is of Dangerboy Deegan. It showcases the ten-year-old doing backflips on his bike. This kid has become an internet sensation on his own, but we are sure this video helped.
Another one you don’t want to miss is his Girls on Dirt Bikes 2018 Compilation. Well done!
The Dirtbike Rider is coming up on 100,000 subscribers, so be sure to help a brother out. He’s been posting since 2008 (!) and seems to put a video or two on each week.
9. Megs Braap
While we are talking about female dirt bike riders, we want to tell you about Megan Griffiths. She is from Canada and is a huge motocross and enduro enthusiast. You can catch some motovlogs, tutorials and adventure videos on her channel.
We especially enjoy her practical techniques for getting around obstacles. This one is a great video she did, ideal for beginner and more advanced riders alike.
We also found her motivational video to be inspiring. It would be fantastic to see more women getting involved in this sport, just like Megs.
She’s been around since 2012 but still has well under 50,000 subscribers. We love finding smaller channels with passion like Megs. Maybe you can show her a little love and motivate her to keep going. She’s generous enough to post a couple of videos each month, so be sure to check them out.
10. CboysTV
Watching the CboysTV is more about the crazy lifestyle of a bunch of guys than it is dirt bikes, but there are plenty of bikes and off-roading involved in their antics. We’ve even highlighted some of their videos in other posts we’ve done because they are just that entertaining.
We aren’t sure exactly where they are from, but it seems always to be snowy and cold there. That’s part of what makes this dirt bike vs. snowmobile on ice video possible.
You can also check out the FMX ramp the boys built. Of course, there’s much more happening in the video than just that, as it is with all of their videos. You’ll find yourself immersed in their lives after a few of them.
They’re a little infections, aren’t they?
From what we understand, the boys all have their own channels, but they’ve been uploading to this one together since 2016. Currently, they have almost 450,000 subscribers and upload new videos once a week.
11. Braap Vlogs
You won’t find anything but dirt bikes and other fun vehicles on Brapp Vlogs. They test out bikes, participate in some races and showcase some injuries. You won’t have a lack of choices when it comes to being entertained by them, that’s for sure.
One of their most popular videos shows a group of riders taking to the streets of Charlotte (illegally). You see the cops in several clips, but no one ever stops.
Another one to check out is the one where a Banshee 350 is doing donuts. Honestly, it seems that their neighborhood has a hell of a lot of fun!
With 463,000 subs - which skyrocketed up from 333,000 since April 2019 - the Braap Vlogs are something different altogether. It’s been a channel since 2014 and there seem to be about six to seven videos every week, so stay tuned for more as the epic shenanigans continue.
Four Tips to Become a Successful Motovlogger
Ever wanted to create your own dirt bike YouTube channel?
It’s an exciting time, when the whole of the human race can check out exactly what you’re doing at any moment. It’s thrilling, nerve wracking, and inspiring all at once.
Getting started with motovlogging is an exciting endeavor. As you’ve seen, there is a massive amount of followers that want to see more content. Not only could you build a pretty decent income online by showcasing what you know - from $500 a month to thousands - but you could also connect with hundreds of thousands of other people just like you.
With some basic equipment, a dirt bike and plenty of enthusiasm, you can start a new motovlogging channel too. Whether you want to build an empire or you just want to share some things with family and friends, we’ve got some quick tips you need to get started.
1. Be yourself
Don’t ever attempt to copy the other motovloggers you see. If viewers want to see those people, that’s who they will watch. They came to your channel to see you.
Be as natural as you can in front of the camera, and make sure you showcase your style, personality and voice. You will have to experiment a little to find the perfect balance, but try to have some fun in the process and it will become natural before you know it.
2. Follow a clear purpose
Think of a Youtube channel as a TV channel. You wouldn’t expect to see some dress shopping show on Viceland, would you? Neither would your viewers.
This applies to both your dirt bike YouTube channel and your individual videos.
If you take the time to plan out your methods, you might be able to quit your full-time job one day and focus solely on vlogging. Once you get to that level, you’ll be able to invest in some better equipment and editing software. Until then, focus on the purpose.
Make a plan and stick to it. Your channel and the videos you produce should have a clear direction. Then, you want that to flow well into the title and description of the content so as to not mislead people.
3. Don’t forget to market
If you plan to build YouTube viewership, you can’t just create content and hope people will come to you. Of course, it could happen, but it shouldn’t be your plan. Instead, you want to promote your dirt bike YouTube channel as exactly what it is.
Make sure you engage with people you meet and be willing to put yourself out there. You can also share the channel on your social media accounts to draw more attention. As you visit local events, make sure you talk to people about your channel as well. In no time, you’ll be experiencing traffic like you would not believe.
It doesn’t hurt to get featured on a site like ours, either!
4. Get off YouTube and go ride
Watching others have a good time on their dirt bike is a lot of fun. What’s more fun is getting out there and doing it yourself. That’s what people want to see! You have to walk the walk, talk the talk, and live the life.
Now that you’ve had the chance to check out some of the best Supermoto and Dirt Bike YouTubers, it’s time to try some of the moves for yourself. Put into practice some things you’ve seen, and avoid the crazy stuff that’s been shown as well. The point is to let these online personalities inspire and motivate you to be more than you are right now, or to stay exactly the same and be proud to be it.
